Empowering children in care.

Giving a voice to the voiceless.

Children under 15 who are placed in care often find themselves as passive recipients of decisions made on their behalf, without the opportunity to have a voice in the process. Their lives are shaped by the decisions of others, and they can feel powerless in the face of these circumstances. At Safe Living Australia, we believe this narrative can—and should—be different.

We aim to model a new approach, one where the voices of children are not only heard but valued. When case managers notice a mismatched family placement or an environment that is not suitable for a child’s well-being, we take action. We work to make changes that better meet the child's needs, ensuring they have the right environment to thrive.

At Safe Living Australia, we don’t just provide care; we empower children to be active participants in their own lives. By listening, understanding, and advocating for what’s best for each child, we help pave the way for their future success and happiness.
